River of Grace Ministries(RGM)  began August 17, 1977, at our same location, under the name Abundant Life. Rev. Ruth Beckman joined Pastor and Mrs. Bill Brown on October 7, 1997. Rev. Albert Beckman joined RGM to help his mother on November 5, 2001. Today, as a result of Pastor Albert’s vision, we have grown to serving over 2,000 meals a week; sheltering up to 44 homeless men each night and we have developed a “Behavior/Attitude Change Program.” “BAC” focuses on those who are willing to work hard to achieve a better life. “BAC” means:“BAC” to Christ, “BAC” to work, “BAC” to life,  and “BAC” to dignity. Our ministry also has a Youth Group, a Men’s Prayer Group, and a weekly street ministry.  During 2007, our ministry donated over 360,000 pounds of food to three area food pantries. We also do a weekly outreach into our community to help our elderly people with their needs. This is our community and we help our people in every way we can as God guides and provides.

God has given us a wonderful, yet challenging, vision in our homeless ministry. His vision is deep within our hearts and we are determined to fulfill His plan of restoration for our community. We are a non-profit organization and we depend upon the generosity of those who willingly give their time, talent and financial contributions. We have a successful record with more than 30 years of experience in our community. Join with us. You can make a difference. This is an opportunity to positively impact many lives. Each year, we help our people find jobs(not day labor) & a place to live so they can get back on their feet. Some men in our program return home to help their families. God is truly restoring lives through our ministry.
